I understand being led into “false light” through ignorance for those attempting to connect deeper. I also understand some are nefarious and aware.
A: Ultimately being misled by false information only matters if it causes a person to choose immorality. Hidden information never takes away our moral free will, but it can cause people to be confused about morality. An example of this is how some religious people think some atrocities in religion are 'holy' because there were allowed or ordered by "God". So, it could be justified by some that if "God" allowed it, the actions might not be that bad.
